Choosing your tours
Some of you will have a clear idea of the places you would like to visit, others
may have specific interests you would like to pursue and others may have no list
at all. Our aim is to give all the help you need to organise a really great itinerary
-
On your arrival day we sit down with you and work through all your ideas and specific interests. From this information and with your approval we put together tour days that will cater for all your needs. When planning your itinerary we take into account: opening days and times, the shortest driving distances, to make the most of your time, and the weather! By taking all these things into account we can offer you the best combination of sightseeing and relaxed travel.
To give you the complete freedom to tailor your own tours, we ensure that each group staying with us have their own driver guide and vehicle. This means that when we have more than one group at Church House you still go where you want to go without compromise.
Tour days
The tours are taken in our comfortable 7 seater, air-
They are very keen to show you our wonderful part of Britain and will go out their way to show you things that other tour groups may not even know exist! Tour days are very relaxed with plenty of stops for photographs, rest stops or to just take in the scenery.
Eating out
At lunch times we normally hunt out a good local pub serving a range of foods from
sandwiches to cooked meals not to mention a glass of local ale. For those who prefer
different surroundings for lunch there are good restaurants and tea rooms to be found
at all the places we visit. Occasionally we buy a picnic and find a quiet country
lane for a peaceful lunchtime stop.
